Well worth reading – Hacked Education on the AJC’s “Cheating our Children.” I especially like the part on “Data Journalism” and the standards it should adhere to. It echoes my sentiment that this kind of reporting requires open disclosure of the data sets used and the detailed descriptions of the methodology used. They need to be available when the article is published and not days or weeks later. Credible journalism requires this.
